Kohlrabi Gratin with Almonds and Gruyère AOC



120g Gruyère AOC, grated
3 kohlrabi
5 carrots
250 ml milk
100 ml cream
50g almonds, grated
100g sugar peas, frozen
Salt and pepper


Prepare vegetables. Halve kohlrabi and slice thinly. Cut carrots into sticks.

Boil milk and cream, season with salt and pepper. Add kohlrabi and carrots and boil for approx. 10 minutes so the vegetables are still firm.

Pour milk-cream mixture into a bowl, stir in cheese and almonds. Place kohlrabi, carrots and sugar peas in a gratin dish.

Cover with creamy sauce mixture and bake in oven at 180°C for approx. 20 minutes
